Bibi Graetz comes from a family of artists and is a graduate of the Academia dell'Arte in Florence. He became passionate about wine in the 1990s and in 2000 founded his own winery at Castello di Vincigliata in Tuscany, where he creates exceptional organic wines by combining his artistic talent with his passion for wine.

Cuvée Colore 2015 is a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes. Grown on vines over 60 years old on clay and schist soils, this wine is matured in Bordeaux barrels for 21 months and continues its refinement for 12 months in bottles.

With its beautiful ruby-red colour, this wine immediately gives us a harmonious bouquet of red fruit followed by delicate notes of spices and cuire on the nose. On the palate, these red fruits develop, thanks to the Colorino, to give way to aromas of blackberries and black cherries, accompanied by notes of pepper and dried rose, brought out by the Canaiolo. The tannins are powerful but give elegant structure to this wine, which is typical of Sangiovese

This excellent cuvée stands on its own, but is perfect with Tuscan dishes or a fine cheese platter. The 2015 vintage is ready to be enjoyed now! Rated 98/100 by James Suckling
