On a clay-limestone soil, the 60-year-old Cabernet Franc vines give birth to the 100% Franc cuvée of Domaine de la Bonnelière. A 36-month ageing period will coat the tannins and complexify the aromas. A dark garnet colour can be observed. The nose develops aromas of red and black fruits followed by vanilla notes brought by the wood. The tasting expresses spices and wood notes. The tannins are full and round, giving the structure of this Saumur-Champigny cuvee.
