DOMAINE LES GRANDES VIGNES, Le Pont Martin, 2017

This Coteaux du Layon is made from Chenin vines that are over 25 years old. Grown, vinified and matured organically and biodynamically, this mellow Loire wine is harvested by hand and then vinified in oak barrels. It is distinguished on the nose by its aromas of white fruit and honey as well as delicate woody and toasty notes. The finish is one of candied fruit that lingers on the palate.  To be drunk now or kept for at least 10 years in the cellar in good conditions.
