Rosé is only for the aperitif? Doesn't go with anything?
The Yannick Amirault estate proves the contrary with their "Rosé d'équinoxe" vintage. This micro-cuvée produced on 1.5ha is a departure from the cliché of rosé wine. Made from 100% Cabernet Franc, with a complete alcoholic fermentation (0 residual sugar) and aged in barrels, this wine has a light buttery, biscuity aroma. The mouth is greedy in its youth, with a freshness. With time, the wine reveals itself with more pronounced notes and its colour takes on amber hues.
