Domaine du Petit Bondieu, Thomas Pichet, Les Haies, 2020

Here's a very special cuvée from Domaine du Petit Bondieu made by Thomas Pichet. From a 2020 vintage, Les Haies is a 100% Cabernet Franc Bourgeuil grown on clay-limestone soil. Aged in old bariques, it has aromas of fresh fruit such as blackberry with hints of spice and copper. Intense ruby red in colour, this is a powerful wine with character, but with plenty of freshness thanks to its fruitiness. It is a full-bodied wine with great ageing potential.
