DOMAINE FONTAVIN, Combe Sauvage, 2018

This Gigondas is the result of a blend of 5 grape varieties (Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault, Clairette Roses). After a manual harvest, in the respect of organic farming, the grapes are matured for 12 months in concrete tanks. This cuvee offers blackcurrant, cherry, garrigue and liquorice aromas on the nose. On the palate, it gives off spicy flavours accompanied by notes of black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry), and a pleasant tannic structure.
